Starting today, we’ll be adding a couple of things related to registering and attending events.

When you register for an event, you will be immediately issued 50 points – just for registering. If you attend the corresponding event, you will still earn the full amount of that event (typically 350). If you register and do not show up, the 50 points will be deducted. TL;DR: Register [and not just show up] to events to get more points.

We’re hoping that this creates more incentive to register for events, as having an accurate registration number significantly helps event hosts plan for large groups.
